Washington state Law Enforcement Memorial

When I first visited the memorial several years ago, of course with my camera-in-hand, I turned to take a close-up of the names.
The name most prominent in my viewfinder was that of Paul R. Blankenship, not a known relative of mine. Imagine my amazement.
In fact, there
is another Blankenship enshrined there, too. What a small world this is where we live.
My thanks to those who serve all of us with such dedication.
